I got nothing much to say, just some photos of my woods in the Eastern Florida Panhandle. I could say a lot since I’m 2 dark ales done but best not to. Like I just spent 5 minutes on FB expounding on the family name going from great-grandson back to my great-grandpa. That it covers 3 centuries sure makes one feel really old. Living where I am for last 15 years makes it feel like where my grandpa lived for 40 years on his farm — but in his natural upper woods above the Genessee Valley near Rochester, NY.
So anyways, here are some dead plants — but with seeds of the future.

Hickory is brightest at this moment in my woods… I’ve been gathering fallen leaves to compost for next year garden. Huge mast year as I spend minutes a day kicking those 1” nuts out of my paths.
OK — I could expound if any ask. And as is usual for The Daily Bucket, share what you have of nature observations in your neck of the woods.
