How many times did you fly on Jeffrey Epstein’s jet? You probably know the answer right off the top of your head—unlike Robert F. Kennedy Jr., who’s now offered conflicting responses about his ties to the notorious sex offender.
On Oct. 31, a Kennedy spokesperson told Newsweek that RFK Jr. had flown on Epstein’s plane only once. Now Kennedy is copping to at least one more joy ride. In the process, he’s disrupting whatever point Fox News’ Jesse Watters was hoping to make about the evil deep state’s oily associations with Epstein, who died in a New York City jail in August 2019.
Following a discussion about Sen. Dick Durbin’s alleged refusal to greenlight a subpoena for Epstein’s flight records, Watters invited RFK Jr. onto his show and offhandedly asked Kennedy if he’d ever flown on Epstein’s disgustingly nicknamed jet, the “Lolita Express.”
He presumably got more than he bargained for.

WATTERS: “You weren’t ever on Jeffrey Epstein’s jet, were you?”
RFK JR.: “I was on Jeffrey’s Epstein jet two times. I was on it in 1993 ... and I went to Florida with my wife and two children to visit my mom over Easter. My wife had some kind of relationship with Ghislaine Maxwell, and they offered us a ride to Palm Beach. I went then, and on another occasion I flew again with my family, with I think four of my children, and Mary, my wife, to Rapid City, South Dakota, to go fossil hunting for a weekend. But otherwise, I was never on his jet alone.
“I’ve been very open about this from the beginning. This was in ‘93, so it was 30 years ago, it was before anybody knew about Jeffrey Epstein’s nefarious issues, and I agree with you that all of this information should be released, and we should get real answers on what happened to Jeffrey Epstein and any of the high-level political people that he was involved with. All of that should be open to the public, it should be absolutely transparent. I don’t see why any of those records would have any redactions in them. Why should we be hiding that from the American public?”
Fossil hunting, eh? That’s the exact opposite of what that plane was usually used for, so nothing to worry about, right? And no doubt Epstein was going to South Dakota anyway, so no need to fret that he was just trying to curry favor with a rich, well-connected guy from a massively prestigious family.
RELATED STORY: RFK Jr. is running on his name, because he's sure not running as a Democrat
In other words, nothing to see here! This, on the other hand, remains concerning:
Of course, RFK Jr.’s current recollection is at odds with what his campaign told Newsweek at the end of October:
The occasion that Kennedy's spokesperson informed Newsweek about was the flight in 1993 from New York City to Palm Beach, Florida, when he visited his mother for Easter.
"Mary, Kennedy's wife, and two of their kids were on the flight," the representative told Newsweek. "Mary knew Epstein's girlfriend Ghislaine Maxwell, who learned that they were going to Palm Beach for Easter and offered their family a ride."
The spokesperson added that the private jet trip was made possible by Kennedy's then-partner, Mary Richardson Kennedy, who was friendly with Maxwell. Kennedy separated from his first wife, Emily Black, in 1992; their divorce was finalized in 1994, the same year that he married Richardson Kennedy. Kennedy filed for divorce in 2010 from Richardson Kennedy, who died in 2012. Kennedy has been married to Curb Your Enthusiasm star Cheryl Hines since 2014.
If you’d flown to South Dakota with your family on Jeffrey Epstein’s private jet to look for trilobites, you’d probably remember it. But for a guy like RFK Jr., it’s probably no more noteworthy than taking the Saturday afternoon bus to Hobby Lobby. Or maybe his pristine, vax-light brain has simply been parboiled by a rash of easily preventable diseases. After all, Donald Trump (who likely suffers from Hepatitises A through Zed) appears to be similarly confused about his past associations with Epstein—which are, to be clear, extensive.
Kennedy is currently running as an independent for president, and at this point he appears to be more of a Trump spoiler than an obstacle for Biden. And that makes sense. Kennedy may have a Democratic name, but he definitely thinks like a Republican (i.e., little to not at all).

And now, it appears, he’s show himself to be at the very least out of touch—if not downright dishonest. Go figure.
